Tasting Justice
Tasting Justice activated the book Tastes of Justice by bringing together artists, curators, researchers and publics across Singapore and Sydney through performances, workshops and collective meals.
Tasting Justice unfolded through a series of public programs in Singapore and Sydney that activated the themes of Tastes of Justice: The Aesthetics and Politics of Food-Art Practices in Asia and Australia, a publication exploring how artists across the region engage food as a material, political and sensorial practice. Bringing together artists, curators, researchers and publics, the project examined how food-based artistic practices create new ways of thinking about justice, ecology, migration, labour and cultural exchange through acts of cooking, eating, storytelling and collective gathering.
